Louis Handler files plans for 145-unit resi building in Bushwick

Louis Handler, on January 19, filed a permit application for construction of a 145-unit, 105,666-square-foot residential building at 60 Cedar Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The plans are one of 19 new building plans filed in Bushwick in the previous 12 months. The 19 plans combined call for the construction of 308 dwelling units in the neighborhood.

The plan calls for the construction of a 183-foot-tall, 18-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00653212. The development site will span two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: 18-story building with 145 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and parking. The second floor will have recreation space and two dwelling units. Floors three through 11 will each have 10 dwelling units per floor, floors 12 though 14 will each have nine dwelling units per floor, floors 15 through 17 will each have seven dwelling units per floor, and the 18th floor will have five dwelling units. The cellar will have parking and recreation space.
