RXR Realty is fully permitted for construction of a 476-unit, 368K sf residential building in Brooklyn

RXR Realty, on March 12, was given a permit for construction of a 476-unit, 368,950-square-foot residential building at 196 Willoughby Street in Brooklyn.

The plans call for the construction of a 445-foot tall, 34-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: erect 34 story residential new building.

The building will primarily be used for student housing at the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University. According to The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, it is the biggest expansion at the Brooklyn campus since its opening in 1926.
