Logan Bus Company files plans for 56K sf vehicle repair shop near JFK

Logan Bus Company, on November 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 56,232-square-foot vehicle repair shop at 182-11 Eastern Road adjacent to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The plans call for the construction of a 40-foot tall, two-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: new non-combustible building, two-story vehicle repair shop and accessory offices.

There will be parking space outside of the proposed building for 693 vehicles, according to the plans. The ground floor will have a repair shop, as well as office and storage space. The second floor will be used exclusively for office space.

H2M Architects + Engineers is the architect named.

No demolition plans have been filed, and likely will not need to be, as the lot is currently vacant.
