L+M files plans for 437-unit mixed-use building in East New York
L+M Development Partners, on July 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 437-unit, 386,362-square-foot mixed-use building at 888 Fountain Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. David Dishy, president of development at L+M Development, filed the plans. The building will have both a north and south tower.
The plans call for the construction of a 161-foot tall, 15-story mixed-use building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of building will have several retail spaces, community facility space, a residential lobby, and parking for 47 cars. Amenities in the building include a fitness room, computer room, recreation space, and roof decks. The north tower will have 13 dwelling units on the second floor, 21 dwelling units per floor on floors three through 12, and 20 dwelling units per floor on floors 13 through 15. The south tower will have 16 dwelling units per floor on floors three through 12.
Dattner Architects is listed as the architect.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
Last year L+M received permits for their 175-unit residential building at 449 Chester Street in Brownsville.
The affordable development company Omni New York LLC recently filed rezoning plans in the neighborhood to facilitate the development of two eight-story mixed-use buildings totaling 154,239 square feet and 136 dwelling units.
