L+M files for 194-unit affordable high-rise, most units planned in Inwood this year
L+M Development Partners, on October 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 194-unit, 175,966-square-foot mixed-use building at 405 West 206th Street in Inwood, Manhattan. David Dishy, president of development at L+M Development, filed the plans.
There have now been five new building plans filed in Inwood this year. Of the plans, these plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 175-foot-tall, 17-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00599489. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: affordable high-rise new building. Hub consultation on 6/24/21. Please assign to same hub examiner as related NB #M00599495. New 17-story building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail and residential space. Residential units will span floors two through 17.
The architect listed is Beyer Blinder Belle LLP.
The property was acquired for $7.2 million on May 6, 2021.
The developer recently filed plans for the construction of an 88-unit, 73,784-square-foot residential building at 380 Chester Street and an 84-unit, 81,603-square-foot residential building at 763 Thomas South Boyland Street, both in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. Other plans from the developer filed recently include plans for the construction of a 222-unit, 203,519-square-foot mixed-use building at 2033 5th Avenue in Central Harlem.
