Abraham Biller files plans for 31-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania
Abraham Biller, on October 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 31-unit, 27,982-square-foot mixed-use building at 672 Union Avenue in Morrisania, Bronx.
There have been plans filed for the construction of 32 new buildings in the neighborhood this year, including these plans. The developments total 648 dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00611146. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: Proposed new seven-story, mixed-use building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking, a lobby, and community space. The second floor will have additional community space. Floors three through five will each have seven dwelling units per floor, the sixth floor will have six dwelling units, and the seventh floor will have four dwelling units and recreation space.
The architect listed is P Georgopoulos Architect PC.
The developer received a permit for the construction of a 51-unit, 36,148-square-foot residential building at 2069 Honeywell Avenue in Tremont back in March.
