L&L finishes $17.4M office building rehab in Flatiron District

L&L Holding Company, on February 17, formally completed a $17.4 million rehabilitation of several floors of an office building at 150 Fifth Avenue in Flatiron.

The plans, pre-filed on October 17, 2019, call for a rehab of floors five through 11 and the cellar of the 153-foot tall, 11-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction work taking place in the cellar and floors five through 11 as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $17,405,450.

IA Interior Architects was the architect.

The property was acquired for $27 million in 2003.

In July of 2016 L&L filed plans for a $18.26 million enlargement plan for the building. Those plans have been permitted but not completed.
