Brookfield finishes $13.3M rehab of Jane Street Capital floors at Brookfield Place

Brookfield Property, on February 16, completed a $13.3 million rehabilitation of three floors of office space at 250 Vesey Street in Battery Park City, including space leased by tenant Jane Street Capital.

The plans, pre-filed on June 11, 2019, call for a rehab of floors three through six of the 473-foot tall, 33-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to include construction of new partitions and finishes as shown on plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. (Jane Street-Phase 2) The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $13,296,000.

In July of 2014, Jane Street Capital signed a 15-year lease for a portion of the fourth floor as well as the entire fifth and sixth floors.
