Liberty One Group permitted for 40K sf school building in Elmhurst

Liberty One Group, on October, 28, was given a permit for construction of a 40,066-square-foot school building at 79-17 51 Street in Elmhurst, Queens.

The plans, pre-filed on November 22, 2019, call for the construction of a 58-foot tall, four-story building. David Levitan was the owner representative on the filing.

The project is described in the filings as: application filed for a new building, four-story and cellar school.

Per the plans, the cellar will have storage space, a recreation room, kitchen, and cafeteria. The ground floor will have office space, a teachers lounge, nurse room, classroom space, and a waiting area. Floors two through four will have classroom and office space, while the roof will provide additional recreation space.

IMC Architecture will be in charge of the design.

No demolition plans have been filed at the property.
