Sammy Mah receives TCO for 30-unit residential building in Flatbush
Sammy Mah, on October 27, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 30-unit, 31,781-square-foot residential building at 2155 Caton Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
The plans, pre-filed on February 8, 2016, call for the construction of a 50-foot tall, six-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was four years and eight months.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed six stories, 30 dwelling units, residential building with community facility space. Obtain new certificate of occupancy.
The building’s cellar has a parking garage for 18 cars, per the plans. The ground floor has three dwelling units and two community facility spaces. Floors two through four each have seven dwelling units per floor. The fifth floor has five dwelling units and the lower level of one duplex apartment, the upper level of which is located on the sixth floor. The roof provides a private recreation space.
Z Architecture was responsible for the project’s design.
Mah spent $3.49 million to purchase the three tax lots which are occupied by the new building.
