Leonid Bogomolniy files plans for 21-unit mixed-use building in Richmond Hill

Leonid Bogomolniy, on July 7, filed a permit application for construction of a 21-unit, 19,799-square-foot mixed-use building at 132-47 Metropolitan Avenue in Richmond Hill.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, 8-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed a new mixed-use building with 21 residential units and a community facility.

The ground floor of the building will provide parking space for 11 cars, according to the plans. The second floor will be used for an ambulatory and diagnostic facility. The third floor will have 345 square feet of indoor recreational space and 1,390 square feet of outdoor recreation space, in addition to three dwelling units, one of which has access to a terrace. Floors four through seven will each have four dwelling units, while the eighth floor will have two dwelling units, both with private terraces.

The units most most likely be rentals based on the average unit size of 714 square feet.

Zarina Kindo of Kindo Holdings is listed as the architect on the filing.

Demolition plans were filed earlier this year on May 22 for the two-family house on the property. The demolition plans are awaiting permit.

The property was acquired for just shy of $1 million on March 19, 2018.
