Plans filed for $5M rehab of roof of residential building in Williamsburg
Richard Herbst on behalf of 13 Berry Street Co., on July 7, filed a permit application for a $4.6 million renovation of a residential building’s roof at 315 Berry Street in Williamsburg.
The plans call for a rehab of the roof of the 75-foot tall, seven-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: installation of energy storage system on the roof. No change in use, egress or occupancy The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,583,000.
Guth DeConzo Consulting Engineers, PC is the architect for the project.
It is the first A2 or A1 project filed for the building since 2000, when plans were filed for a $300,000 conversion of the building from commercial to residential use.
