Kamran Hakim is fully permitted for the demolition of three buildings in Lenox Hill

Kamran Hakim, on July 8, was given three permits for the demolition of three buildings at 1209-1213 First Avenue in Lenox Hill. It is unclear what the plan is for the 13,000-square-foot lot, as no new building plans have been filed.

The demolition plans, which were each pre-filed on September 26, 2019, call for the demolition of a building.

The first project is described in the filings as: full demolition of mixed residential/commercial building using hand held equipment, and mechanical to assist.

It is for the 55-foot tall, 5-story mixed-use building at 1209 1st Avenue.

The second project is described in the filings as: full demolition of 5 story structure mixed residential and commercial, using hand held equipment and partial mechanical means.

It is for the 55-foot tall, 5-story mixed-use building at 1211 1st Avenue.

The final project is described in the filings as: full demolition of 4 story structure, using hand held equipment and mechanical means to assist.

It is for the 55-foot tall, 4-story commercial building at 1213 1st Avenue.

Peter Tauberer, PE is listed as the applicant on all three filings.
