Leo Brody files plans for vertical enlargement of resi building in Longwood Melrose

Leo Brody of Paradise Management, on October 28, filed plans for a project to enlarge a residential building at 1315 Findlay Avenue in Longwood Melrose, Bronx. The project aims to increase the number of units in the building from two to 19.

The plans call for an increase in the size of the building from a 23-foot tall, two-story building with two dwelling units to a 53-foot-tall, four-story building with 19 dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00620098.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed vertical enlargement converting existing two-story and cellar, two-unit, into a four-story and penthouse, 19-unit, residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will go from one dwelling unit to four dwelling units. The second floor will also go from one dwelling unit to four dwelling units. The newly constructed third and fourth floors will each have four dwelling units, while the penthouse will have one. There will be a roof deck located on top of the building.

The property was acquired for $510,000 on May 9, 2016.
