City files plans for $7.9M multi-floor rehab of health center in Jackson Heights
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, on October 28, filed plans for a $7.9 million rehabilitation of a medical building at 34-33 Junction Boulevard in Jackson Heights, Queens.
These are the first alteration plans filed at the building this year, and the most expensive plans filed at the building in at least the last five years.
The plans call for work on all floors of the 30-foot-tall, three-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00580033.
The project is described in the filing as: Herewith filing for interior renovation of lobby and removal of roof system and installation of new and other work as per the drawings. No change in use, egress or occupancy.
The architect listed is Ikon.5 Architects.
The city agency recently filed plans for the construction of a 49,497-square-foot veterinary building at 2060 Bartow Avenue in Morrisania.
