Leo Brody files plans for 45-unit mixed-use building in Highbridge

Leo Brody, on September 20, filed a permit application for construction of a 45-unit, 37,578-square-foot building at 1047 Ogden Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.

There have been 15 new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year. Of the plans, these plans call for the second-most residential units.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00579827. The development site spans four tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story mixed-use building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space and a health care clinic. The second floor will have seven dwelling units. Floors three through six will each have eight dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have six dwelling units. The roof will have recreation space and the cellar will have parking for 14 cars.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $1 million on November 9, 2018.
