Krown Point Capital files plans for 114-unit mixed-use building in Midtown East

Krown Point Capital, on October 22, filed a permit application for construction of a 114-unit, 117,895-square-foot mixed-use building at 300 East 50th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan, at the corner of Second Avenue. Reggie Kronstadt, a principal with Krown Point Capital, filed the plans.

There have been eight new building plans filed in Midtown this year. These are the second residential (R-2) plans filed. The other plans call for the construction of three hotels (R-1) and three offices (B).

The plans call for the construction of a 125-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00611352. The development site spans five tax lots.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, an office, and retail space. The second floor will have a yoga room and six apartments. Floors three through six will each have 12 dwelling units per floor, while floors seven through 12 will each have 10 dwelling units per floor. The roof will have a terrace.

The architect listed is BKSK Architects, LLP.

The property was acquired for $12 million on April 12, 2021.
