Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center files plans for a 321-unit mixed-use building in East Flatbush
Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, on January 5, filed a permit application for construction of a 321-unit, 338,611-square-foot building at 832 Rutland Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Tony Renteria, VP of operations and project management, filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood over the last 12 months. During that span there have been 37 new building plans filed in East Flatbush. The 37 plans call for the construction of a total of 721 new dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 122-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00648034. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: construct new 12-story mixed-use building per plans filed herewith.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have lobbies, lounges, kitchens, a break room, community space, grocery store, health care space, a business center, and office space. The second floor will have an exercise rooms, play room, community spaces, recreation space, and 27 dwelling units. Floors three through seven will each have 37 dwelling units per floor, floors eight and nine will each have 32 dwelling units, and floors 10 through 12 will each have 15 dwelling units per floor.
