Kathy Ho, on January 13, filed a permit application for construction of a 87-unit, 68,999-square-foot mixed-use building at 43-15 52nd Street in Sunnyside, Queens.
The plans are one of three total new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous three months. The three plans combined to call for the construction of 247 dwelling units.
The property was acquired with three other properties for $9.7 million on December 15, 2021. Zhidong Wu was the signatory in the acquisition.
The job has an estimated cost of $24 million listed in the filing.
The plans call for the construction of a 95-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00649207. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: new mixed-use multi-family residential building over nine-stories with basement.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and business space. The second floor will have 11 dwelling units. Floors thee through seven will each have 12 dwelling units per floor, while floors eight and nine will each have eight dwelling units.
