Aimco files plans for 96K sf mixed-use building in Yorkville
Aimco, on January 13, filed a permit application for construction of a 51-unit, 96,543-square-foot mixed-use building at 1695 Second Avenue in Yorkville, Manhattan. Patti Shwayder filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of a 270-foot-tall, 22-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00637209. The development site spans several tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: new building filing for a new residential mixed-use building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have multiple retail spaces and a lobby. The second floor will have two dwelling units and a lounge, the third floor will have two dwelling units and an exercise room, the fourth floor will have two dwelling units and a meeting room, and the fifth floor will have two dwelling units and a kid’s room. Floors six through eight will each have two dwelling units per floor, floors nine through 14 will each have one dwelling unit with a terrace per floor, floors 15 through 21 will each have two dwelling units per floor, and the 22nd floor will have one dwelling unit. The roof will have recreation space.
The architect listed is Goldstein, Hill And West Architects, now known as Hill West Architects.
