Plans filed for $3.3M fit out to several floors at Minskoff’s new West Village condo 17 Jane Street

Karen Thomas Associates, on July 20, filed a permit application for a $3.3 million build out of the cellar and floors one and two of a newly built residential condominium project at 17 Jane Street in West Village. Edward J. Minskoff Equities is the developer of the project.

The plans call for work in the cellar and floors one and two of the 74-foot tall, 6-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction work as shown on plans. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,320,000.

The first and second floors are made up of the lower and upper halves of two townhouses. No sales have been recorded for those units.

Edward J. Minskoff Equities acquired the property for $26 million on November 14, 2014, and recorded a $60 million construction and development loan in August of 2017. On May 13, Minskoff was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $16 million project to convert 17 Jane Street from a garage to a residential condo.

The residential condo project has a $95.975 million sell out price, and was declared effective November 6, 2019.
