Kamran Hakim demolishes two Lenox Hill buildings, part of 5-building tax lot

Kamran Hakim, on December 9 and 10, formally completed the demolition of two buildings at 1211 First Avenue and 1209 First Avenue in Lenox Hill.

The first plans, pre-filed on September 26, 2019, call for the demolition of a five-story building at 1211 First Avenue.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of five-story structure mixed residential and commercial, using hand held equipment and partial mechanical means.

The second plans, pre-filed on the same day, call for the demolition of a five-story building at 1209 First Avenue.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of mixed residential/commercial building using hand held equipment, and mechanical to assist.

The buildings are part of an assembled 13,000-square-foot lot that had a total of 138 residential units and 15 commercial units in the existing buildings.

Plans for a third demolition, at 1213 First Avenue, were also filed on September 26, 2019, those plans have not yet been completed.

No new building plans have been filed yet at any of the three addresses.
