Joseph Safdie, on May 14, filed a permit application for construction of an 18-unit, 12,098-square-foot residential building at 872 East 164th Street in Morrisania, the Bronx.
According to city records, the last transfer of this property was United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York purchasing it for $587,500 on December 13, 2013.
The plans call for the construction of a 53-foot tall, four-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number X00520867. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed new four-story, penthouse, and cellar residential building.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space and four dwelling units. Floors two through four will also each have four dwelling units per floor, while the penthouse will have two dwelling units.
