John Russo files plans for 28-unit mixed-use building in Sunset Park
John Russo through the company 651 4th Avenue LLC, on August 20, filed a permit application for construction of a 28-unit, 33,095-square-foot building at 179 20th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
The plans call for the construction of a 125-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00578168. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: construct new nine-story mixed-use building as per plans filed herewith.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have multiple commercial spaces, community space, and a residential lobby. Floors two and three will each have three dwelling units per floor and recreation space. Floors four through eight will each have four dwelling units per floor, while the ninth floor will have two dwelling units. The roof will have recreation space. The cellar will have storage space and an office.
The architect listed is Fischer Makooi Architects PLLC.
The property was acquired for $6.2 million on March 29, 2017.
