Jim Yang files plans for 55K mixed-use building in LIC
Jim Yang through the company JNMY LLC, on August 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 44-unit, 55,924-square-foot residential building at 46-06 11th Street in Long Island City.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: new building.
According to the plans, the cellar of the proposed building will have residential storage space and off-street parking for 20 vehicles. The ground floor will have an eating and drinking establishment, community center, lobby, and recreation space. The second floor will provide a 20 off-street parking spaces. The third floor will have a community center, recreation room, and four dwelling units. Floors four to seven will each have nine dwelling units, while the eighth floor will have four dwelling units. Additionally, floors three through eight will each have an ambulatory diagnostic or treatment health care facility.
Raymond Chan Architect is listed as the architect for the development.
Demolition plans have yet to be filed.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
