Jacob Schwimmer files plans for a 55-unit residential building in Mott Haven

Jacob Schwimmer, on June 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 55-unit, 36,850-square-foot residential building at 101 Bruckner Boulevard in Mott Haven.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed new seven-story and cellar residential building.

The ground floor of the proposed building will have mail and laundry rooms, along with two recreation areas which total just under 1,000-square-feet of space. Floors two through six will each have nine units, while the seventh floor will have ten units. The roof will provide an additional 250-square-feet of recreation space. The building will also have 23 parking spaces.

S. Wieder Architect P.C. is listed on the filing.

The property was acquired for $2.7 million on February 13, 2020.

Schwimmer signed a construction loan agreement with S3 Capital’s S3 RE Funding III LLC valued at $14.3 million for 1 parcel, including the tax class miscellaneous open space (Z9) at 101 Bruckner Boulevard on February 13. The deal was recorded on April 1, 2020.

On January 22, 2020, Schwimmer filed plans calling for the construction of a residential building of the same dimensions, however the plans were disapproved.
