Blackstone finishes $9M rehab of multiple floors at 200-unit Chelsea rental
Blackstone, on June 16, completed a $9.3 million rehab of several floors of a 200-unit residential building known as The Grove at 250 West 19th Street in Chelsea.
The plans call for a rehab of floors one through 14 of the 153-foot-tall, 16-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: renovation of existing apartments on floors one to 14 as indicated on plans and additional information forms; architectural work. No change in use, occupancy or egress. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $9.33 million.
Andre Kikoski Architect PLLC is listed on the application.
The property was acquired for $196.7 million on September 10, 2015.
In August of 2019, Morgan Stanley provided a $364M financing package to Blackstone for 11 of their developments, one of which was The Grove.
