Jacob Leifer receives TCO for 35-unit resi building in East Flatbush

Jacob Leifer, on January 22, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 35-unit, 24,704-square-foot residential building at 1613 Brooklyn Avenue in East Flatbush.

The plans, pre-filed on October 24, 2018, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, six-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was two years and three months.

The project is described in the filings as: six-story and cellar residential/community facility building.

The building’s cellar has storage space, laundry, and recreational space, per the plans. The ground floor has a lobby, recreation space, and ambulatory diagnostic facility. Floors two through six each have seven dwelling units per floor.

NY Building Associates Inc. is listed as the architect.

The property was acquired for $1.2 million on April 23, 2018.
