Jacob Fulop files to build 55-unit residential building in Crown Heights
Jacob Fulop under the President Lofts LLC, on August 7, filed a permit application for construction of a 55-unit, 34,353-square-foot residential building at 1044 President Street in Crown Heights.
The plans call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story and cellar residential building.
According to the plans filed, the cellar of the proposed building will have 539 square feet of recreation space. The ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit along with parking spaces for 22 cars. Floors two through six will each have eight dwelling units, the second floor will also have 1,200 square feet of outdoor recreation space. Floors seven and eight will each have seven dwelling units.
The development site, located between Bedford Avenue and Franklin Avenue, is two blocks south of the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains.
The architect for the development will be S. Wieder Architect, per the application.
A two-family home has occupied the property since the 1930s, and no demolition plans have been filed yet.
