Jack Gold files plans for 134K sf mixed-use building in Crown Heights
Jack Gold, on November 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 57-unit, 134,391-square-foot mixed-use building at 1730 Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The building will have just under 56,000-square-feet of commercial space, 39,596-square-feet of community space, and 38,798-square-feet of residential space.
There have been 10 new building plans filed in the neighborhood this year.
The developer has owned the site since the 1980s, according to city records. The estimated job cost listed for the project is $12 million.
The plans call for the construction of a 94-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00620031. the development site spans one tax lot.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a food store. The second floor will have 14 dwelling units and offices. The third floor will have 15 dwelling units, community space, and offices. The fourth floor will have 13 dwelling units and community space. Floors five and six will each have community space and eight dwelling units.
