Isaac Mizrahi files plans for 15K sf synagogue in Midwood

Isaac Mizrahi, on June 2, filed a permit application for construction of a 15,896-square-foot synagogue at 1002 Avenue N in Midwood, Brooklyn.

There have been 16 new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 46-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00734102.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 50 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: application filed to propose new community facility/house of worship.

Each floor of the building will be used for a synagogue.

The architect listed is Al Fred Architecture PLLC.

The property was acquired for $3 million on December 31, 2021.
