City files plans for 20K sf community building in Rego Park

Department of Design and Construction, on June 2, filed a permit application for construction of a 20,950-square-foot community building at 91-41 63rd Drive in Rego Park, Queens.

There have been nine new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The initial cost is listed as $29,600,000.

The plan call for the construction of a 35-foot-tall, two-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00713415.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 80 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: Filing herewith for new two-story community facility.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have office space and community space. The second floor will have aa staff lounge and multipurpose room.

The architect listed is Weiss/Manfredi.
