Interfaith Medical Center permitted for $8.3M multi-floor rehab in Bed-Stuy

Interfaith Medical Center, on December 28, was given a permit for an $8.3 million rehabilitation of two floors and the roof at 1545 Atlantic Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The plans, pre-filed on July 13, 2020, call for a rehab of floors seven and eight as well as the roof of the 100-foot tall, nine-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed interior renovation for Interfaith Medical Center. All as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,347,923.

Razak Associates Architecture, Engineering & Land Surveying PLLC will be in charge of the project.

The medical center has filed 12 rehab projects at the building this year.
