Innovo Property Group permitted for demo of two buildings on LIC parcel

Andrew Chung’s Innovo Property Group, on March 9, was given a permit for the demolition of two buildings at 28-90 Review Avenue in Long Island City.

The first plans, pre-filed on April 15, 2020, call for the demolition of a one-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of illegal structure, using hand held and mechanical means to remove structure.

The property was acquired for $34.1 million on June 23, 2020, after originally trying to purchase it in 2018.

Crain’s reported that the developer was planning a ground-up warehouse at the site, but no plans have been filed yet.
