Innovo Property Group files plans for 679K sf storage building in LIC
Andrew Chung’s Innovo Property Group, on December 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 679,638-square-foot storage building at 23-30 Borden Avenue in Long Island City, Queens.
The plans call for the construction of a 143-foot tall, five-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: filed herewith five-story new building with three-stories of industrial use and two-stories of studio and accessory space.
Per the plans, the building will have a parking garage that spans all five floors. The building will have a warehouse lobby and industrial lobby. The fourth floor will have office space and a production studio. The building will also have several recreation spaces.
KSS Architects is the architect named.
The property was acquired for $75 million on January 24, 2019.
The warehouse that currently occupies the site was used by the online grocer company FreshDirect before Innovo acquired it. Plans to demolish the building were pre-filed on June 7, 2019. The plans have been permitted.
