Idan Magen files plans for construction of a 25-unit mixed-use building in Williamsburg

Idan Magen, on February 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 25-unit, 25,215-square-foot mixed-use building at 711 Grand Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The plans are one of 47 new building plans filed in Williamsburg in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00673535. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: construction of eight-story mixed-use new building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space, amenity space, and recreation space. The second floor will have two dwelling units, floors three through six will each have four dwelling units per floor, the seventh floor will have three dwelling units, while the eighth floor will have two dwelling units and a terrace. The roof will have a patio and terrace and the cellar will have storage.

The architect listed is Issac & Stern Architects, P.C.

The property was acquired for $5.3 million on September 4, 2020.
