iCross Group files plans for 50-unit mixed-use building in LIC
iCross Group, on February 25, filed a permit application for construction of a 50-unit, 42,877-square-foot mixed-use building at 28-08 38th Avenue in Long Island City. Lily Guo filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: propose new seven-story mixed-use building as per plan.
There will be commercial space on the first and second floors, per the plans. The first floor will also have one dwelling unit, while the second floor will also have six dwelling units and a recreation space. The third floor will have 10 dwelling units, floors four and five will each have nine dwelling units per floor, the sixth floor eight dwelling units, while the seventh floor will have seven dwelling units with private terraces.
Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio is the architect.
The developer’s website states that the development will have 59 dwelling units. The website also states that demolition for the project has been completed and that completion of the new building is estimated to be the end of 2022.
The property was acquired for $10.2 million on September 13, 2018.
The developer is also responsible for 42 condos at 46-20 11th Street in Long Island City
