Hui Shi files plans for 50-unit resi building in LIC
Hui Shi through the company 39-26 Property LLC, on November 12, filed a permit application for construction of a 50-unit, 37,314-square-foot residential building at 39-26 30th Street in Long Island City, Queens.
Over the last 12 months, there have been 26 new building plans filed in the neighborhood. The plans combine to call for the construction of 4,296 new dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 110-foot tall, 11-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: new building – 11-story residential building with affordable housing units.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and parking for 16 cars. The second floor will have a terrace, gym, and five dwelling units. Floors three through eight will each have six dwelling units per floor, while floors nine through 11 will each have three dwelling units per floor.

Demolition plans were filed in September but have not yet been permitted.
The property was acquired for $2.1 million on March 9, 2012.
