Hudson receives TCO for 294K sf One Clinton condo with $474M sellout
Hudson, on November 4, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 134-unit, 294,379-square-foot mixed-use condominium project at 1 Clinton Street, known as One Clinton, in Brooklyn Heights.
The plans, pre-filed on January 18, 2016, call for the construction of a 409-foot tall, 36-story mixed-use condo building. The time from pre-file to TCO was four years and 10 months.
The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing mixed-use new building as per plans.
The development occupies a property that was formally the site of the Brooklyn Heights Library. Hudson acquired the property for $52 million on June 15, 2017.
The cellar of the building has a new public library, known as One Clinton Street Library, per the plans filed. The ground floor has retail spaces that will be occupied by The Brooklyn Roasting Company and a number of pop-up food vendors, according to reports.
The building’s amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, sauna, hot tub, children’s center with indoor and outdoor play areas, study, and common areas.
The condo units, which start on the second floor, range from one- to four-bedrooms, with larger family-sized units on the last 12 floors.
The building, designed by Marvel Architects, currently has a $474 milion sellout with the NYS Attorney General.
