Heights Advisors files plans for 20-unit mixed-use building in Red Hook

Heights Advisors, on September 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 20-unit, 26,234-square-foot mixed-use building at 159 Van Dyke Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

There have been a total of four multifamily residential buildings (occupancy R-2) filed in the neighborhood so far this year. Of those four plans, these plans call for the construction of the most residential units.

The plans call for the construction of a 50-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00545879. The development site spans four tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: new five-story mixed-use building.

Per the plans, the ground floor will have parking space and a health care facility. Floors two through five will each have five dwelling units per floor, while the roof will have a recreation area.

The architect listed is Myles Architecture, P.C.

The estimated job cost is $4.5 million.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $3.6 million on September 28, 2018.
