Harry Einhorn files plans for 42-unit mixed-use building in Crown Heights

Harry Einhorn through the company 643 Classon LLC, on August 27, filed a permit application for construction of a 42-unit, 29,310-square-foot residential building at 643 Classon Avenue in Crown Heights.

The plans call for the construction of a 95-foot tall, nine-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed nine-story mixed-use, residential and commercial building.

Per the plans filed, the cellar of the building will have a gym, storage space, and a recreation area. The ground floor will have 733 square feet of commercial space, parking for seven cars, and the lower thirds of two triplex dwelling units. The second floor will have the middle thirds of two triplex dwelling units, five additional dwelling units, and a 2,038-square-foot greenhouse terrace. The third floor will have the upper thirds of two triplex dwelling units, as well as an additional five dwelling units. Floors four through nine will each have five dwelling units, four of the dwelling units on the ninth floor will have private roof terraces. The roof will also have a recreation space of nearly 1,000-square-feet.

James Shannon of Strekte is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans have not been yet been filed.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired for $2.3 million on November 10, 2014.
