Hampshire Properties permitted for 59-unit resi building in East Flatbush

Hampshire Properties, on August 27, was given a permit for construction of a 59-unit, 51,111-square-foot residential building at 2343 Nostrand Avenue in East Flatbush. Robert Rosenthal, founder of the firm, filed the plans.

The project is one of nine plans filed since the start of 2019 that call for the construction of a building 20,000 square feet or greater in size in East Flatbush. Of the nine plans, these are the second largest.

The plans, pre-filed on November 1, 2019, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story residential building.

The project is described in the filing as: construct new seven-story residential use building as per plans filed.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, lounge, terrace, and workspace, plus five dwelling units. Floors two through seven will each have nine dwelling units per floor. The roof will have an amenity space while the cellar will have an exercise room and parking for 30 cars.

The property was acquired for $4.5 million on November 3, 2017.
