Halcyon Management files plans for 281 units in Greenpoint, part of Calyer Place project
Halcyon Management Group, on February 22, filed two permit applications for the construction of a 181-unit, 179,785-square-foot residential building at 30 Porte Plaza and a 100-unit, 120,903-square-foot mixed-use building at 15 West Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Lipa Friedman filed the plans. Halcyon Management Group is led by Yoel Sabel.
The plans are part of the Calyer Place development, which is slated to have approximately 1,000 mixed-income apartments, as well as commercial space and parking when fully complete.
According to the filings, a total of six towers will eventually stand on the subject zoning lot.
Back in 2015, the developer filed plans for a 14-story building with 216 dwelling units at 23 West Street at the site. Then, plans were filed for a 14-story building with 92 dwelling units at 37 West Street and a 40-story building with 554 dwelling units at 65 Private Drive.

The first of the new plans call for the construction of a 185-foot-tall, 18-story building at 30 Porte Plaza and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00678516.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed 18-story residential project as per plans. A total of six towers proposed on subject zoning lot. Filing for 421a foundation approval.
Per the plans, the ground floor will have recreation and parking space. Floors two through six will each have 15 dwelling units per floor, floors seven and eight will have 12 dwelling units per floor, floors nine through 14 will each have nine dwelling units per floor, and floors 15 through 18 will each have seven dwelling units per floor.

The second plans call for the construction of a 55-foot-tall, five-story building at 15 West Street and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00678680.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed five-story mixed-use project as per plans. A total of six towers proposed on subject zoning lot. Filing for 421a foundation approval.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking, lobbies, and commercial space. Floors two through five will each have 25 dwelling units per floor.
