Halcyon Management borrows $225M from Wells Fargo for new construction in Greenpoint
Lipa Friedman’s Halcyon Management through the entity West Development B LLC as borrower signed a loan agreement with lender Wells Fargo Bank valued at $225.0 million for 2 parcels, including the tax class not available at 37 West Street and 65 Private Drive in Greenpoint. The deal closed on December 26, 2019 and was recorded on January 13, 2020.
Halcyon filed plans in 2017 to build a 410-unit building on lot 40, with address 65 Private Drive and a 92-unit building on lot 50 with the address 37 West Street.
Over the past five years, there has been one NYC Department of Buildings permit application filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000.
