GMC Parking files plans for $6.5M project to convert garage to school Lenox Hill

GMC Parking, on May 2, filed plans for a $6.5 million project to convert a parking garage to a school building at 337 East 64th Street in Lenox Hill, Manhattan.

The plans call for the change in use and increase in size of the building from a 60-foot tall, five-story building to an 83-foot tall, five-story building. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00717485.

The project is described in the filing as: Filing to obtain a BSA objection for the conversion of existing parking garage to school. We do not require a full review of the job until we get BSA approval.

Per the plans, each floor of the garage will be converted to school use.

The architect listed is S9 Architecture And Engineering DPC.
