Global Holdings finishes $6.2M multi-floor rehab at 1250 Broadway
Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings, on September 21, completed a $6.2 million rehabilitation of several floors at 1250 Broadway in Garment District.
The plans, pre-filed on February 11, 2019, call for a rehab of floors four through 11, 15, and 34 of the 447-foot tall, 39-story, building. Global Holdings refinanced the building with a $443 million loan, which puts it among the top 15 loans signed this year. The property was acquired for $565 million from Jamestown and Murray Hill Properties on November 1, 2016.
The project is described in the filings as: at floors 2-11, 15-18, 20-25, 32, core bathroom renovation as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,200,000.
GGA Architecture, PLLC is the architect listed.
The developer has filed eight A2 plans at the building so far this year, most recently on September 18. The largest plans called for $858,000 of work on the 17th floor of the building.
