Gindi Capital completes demolition of four-story building in Brooklyn
Gindi Capital, on January 7, completed the demolition of a four-story building at 595 Smith Street in Brooklyn.
Gindi Capital recently acquired Chetrit Group’s stake in property valued at $45 million. Prior to the purchase, Gindi Capital and Chetrit Group each owned 50 percent of the property.
The plans, pre-filed on September 27, 2017, call for the demolition of a building. Meyer Chetrit of the Chetrit Group filed the plans.
The project is described in the filings as: application hereby filed to propose a full demolition of a four-story building.
The building had been damaged due to a fire. The fire was later reported as arson.
No new building plans have been filed at the property yet.
