George Tsilogiannis files plans for 92-unit mixed-use building in Astoria
George Tsilogiannis, on December 1, filed a permit application for construction of a 92-unit, 87,439-square-foot mixed-use building at 31-90 29th Street in Astoria, Queens.
There have been 28 new building plans filed in the neighborhood this year. These plans call for the construction of the third most dwelling units in the neighborhood over the period.
Last year the developer paid $9.8 million for retail space at 25-33 Broadway in Astoria.
The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00638678. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: propose new six-story mixed-use building. Obtain new certificate of occupancy.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space, a residential lobby, and parking for 13 cars. The second floor will have 16 dwelling units, a roof terrace, and recreation space. Floors three through five will each have 21 dwelling units per floor, while the sixth floor will have 13 dwelling units and seven terraces. The roof will have a terrace.

The property was acquired for $9.8 million on July 1, 2020.
