Gatsby Enterprises files plans for 134-unit mixed-use building in Lenox Hill
Gatsby Enterprises, on January 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 134-unit, 142,145-square-foot mixed-use building at 242 East 71st Street in Lenox Hill, Manhattan. Isaac Ohebshalom, a principal at Gatsby Enterprises, filed the plans.
According to an analysis of plans filed with the DOB, these plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in Lenox Hill in the previous 10 years.
The plans call for the construction of a 214-foot-tall, 21-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00665110.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have three retail spaces. The second floor will have a gym, business center, and lounges. Floors three through 15 will each have eight dwelling units per floor, and floors 16 through 21 will each have five dwelling units per floor. The cellar will have retail space and a pet wash room.

The property was acquired with three other properties for $20.9 million on December 21, 2007.
