Gateway Church files plans for construction of 20K sf chapel, attached to church in Staten Island
Gateway Church, on January 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 20,723-square-foot chapel at 200 Boscombe Avenue in Staten Island. Michael Luciano filed the plans.
The chapel will be attached to an existing church building, as can be seen in the zoning diagrams below. In total, the existing church and new chapel will consist of 81,549-square-feet of space.

The plans call for the construction of a 68-foot-tall, three-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number S00627385.
The project is described in the filing as: new two-story chapel and lobby expansion with existing building. Obtain new C of O.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will be used as a chapel while the second floor will be used for classroom and conference room space.
The architect listed is Church Architects LLC.
The estimated job cost is $3,108,450.
The property was acquired for $1.3 million on February 21, 2013.
